do, and we think it's important to spread the word about
environmentally friendly ideas and policies. Check back here often for

FOOD
Share is a food bank in Ventura County that feeds over 40,000 people
each month, responsible for the distribution of millions of pounds of
food each year. With a variety of community programs and a large
network of partners and agencies, FOOD Share is dedicated to providing
healthy and nutritious food for the hungry. This includes food produced
by volunteers in community and backyard gardens as part of the Garden
Share "grow a row" program. Visit the FOOD Share website at foodshare.com for more information about these programs and how you can become a volunteer! Attention animal lovers!
Here’s
a quick and easy way that you can make a difference in the lives of abused and
neglected animals! Simply go to the Animal Rescue Site and click the purple box
to give FREE food & care. Their corporate sponsors and advertisers use the
number of daily visits to donate food every day to animals in need, in exchange
for advertising. The whole process takes less than a minute and won’t cost you
a thing, there are no strings attached or forms to fill out!
So
please do spread the word - ask your friends to ask their friends! Remember to
visit the site often and keep up the clicking!

Help our environment by planting more trees! Trees for Children
is a non-profit organization that can help you reduce the effects of global
warming by replanting the trees used in the construction of homes and
businesses! The standard new home requires an average of 90 trees to build, and
this combined with carbon imprints from vehicles and structures is only
worsening the global climate crisis. Trees for Children is dedicated to teaching
people how to take responsibility for our impact on the environment, by
returning the balance to nature. Every forest replenished will create new
habitats for wildlife, slow water and wind erosion, provide more oxygen, and
reduce the effects of global warming!
